Personality: Calm and withdrawn. Winter does not openly express her emotions and comes off as almost robotic. She keeps strictly to herself and will barely raise her voice above a monotoned drone, showing that it's not easy to upset or anger her. She can come off as cold and it's often speculated that she has an almost complete lack of empathy. She is more of a follower by nature.
Likes: Snow related things, Herbal teas, reading, appears to have a soft spot for cute animals, working with or under those who have unique ideals and know what they're doing
Dislikes: Lack of direction, awkward social situations, anyone coming too close into her personal bubble, bitter things, extreme heat, dry place, fire (Natural weakness), forming attachments, being without work for too long, having to be a leader

Backstory -

Past

Winter was born in a small tundra village located deep within one of the polar climate countries. Her mother and father were the leaders of her tribe- her father being the Chief while her mother was more of a Spiritual Healer. In her culture, it wasn't uncommon for the daughters of Spiritual figures to be born with special powers- Her mother before her could command the snow and the ice and like her, Winter was born to eventually be able to use these abilities as well.

She grew up first learning the typical things that young girls did- learning to cook, sew, and look after the younger children. Once she hit her mid-teens her father would take over and teach her how to protect herself in combat, as childless females within her village were required to fight if they were attacked by neighboring tribes, and it wouldn't be until her late teens that she began to develope the first signs of her special abilities- causing snow to fall inside the house when she got upset, dropping temperatures below freezing even in a warm room. Little stuff.
Her mother would have begun her training to control her special powers right away but tragedy struck when their village was attacked. Her mother died of a fetal blow to the head, leaving Winter alone without anyone to teach her to properly control her element.

As her undeveloped abilities grew more powerful and worse, Winter was forced to face the elders who decided that if she couldn't stablize her powers properly, she'd have to be forced to learn how to shut off her emotions. In order to force her to do this, they locked her away within a secluded igloo until she was able to numb herself against all feeling. It took several years of seclusion before she was finally allowed to go free.
Her test to prove that she had overcome her feelings was when she was finally released and she was informed of her father being killed during the time she'd been isolated. At the news, a handful of snow flurries had whirled around her for a brief moment before there was just nothing. Feeling that she'd obtained a level of control over herself, the elders agreed that she would no longer need to remain in the igloo.

Present

Winter left her village shortly after this, when she was about 24 years of age, and sought a life outside of the snowy country. She joined up with a small group of gifted mercenaries and has since been taking up jobs wherever they may turn up.

Facts -
- Her reason for leaving her village was mostly just her own way of dealing with the grief of hearing that her father died.
- Her abilities are so unstable that even the slightest hint of emotion, even just a smile, can cause it to start snowing around her.
- Would like to find a mentor who can teach her to control her powers.
- The blades she carries with her belonged to her mother. Only someone with a power over ice can wield them. The blades are made of ice (Which is reinforced by magic so they don't shatter and break easily) and will melt away as soon as she no longer requires them.
- Is the main rival to Twilight.
